How to rip DVD to QuickTime, Convert DVD Clips to MOV files for iMovie

Mov is the filename extension for the QuickTime multimedia file format, and here is a quick tutorial about how to convert DVD clips to MOV files to play on QuickTime, iMovie.

Part 1.Rip DVD to MOV files with Daniusoft DVD Ripper

Step 1. Free download Daniusoft DVD Ripper here

Step 2.Insert your DVD disc into your DVD-Rom (Ensure that you have sufficient space on hard drive to store the DVD). Click 'Load DVD' button to add the DVD file. You can also click 'Load File' to add DVD/IFO from your hard disk.



Step 3.Choose output formats
Daniusoft DVD Ripper can convert DVD to all popular video formats such as MPEG-4, AVI, WMV, VOB, 3GP, FLV, etc. Click the 'Format' drop down list to select "MOV - QuickTime(.MOV)" as output format.
