If you also are looking for ways to import DVD to iMovie for editing, you should learn that iMovie only reads MP4, MOV video. Unless you rip DVD movies to iMovie compatible format MOV MP4, there is no other way to put DVD to iMovie 09, iMovie HD.

Then, just insert your favorite DVD on the DVD-ROM and load your DVD files to DVD Ripper for Mac through "Load DVD". Alternatively, you can hit "Load IFO" to import IFO files.
