Nexus One Phone

Speed

Responsiveness to touch on the screen is definitely on par with the iPhone. The sad part here is that there is no multi-touch on this device. So forget about pinching to zoom in and out, however if you MUST insist on using these gestures you can download an application called Dolphin.

Home Screen

There are 2 options on the home screen. One option is on the lower left side of the display, and is used to unlock the phone. Prior to unlocking the phone the second option is on the lower right side. This option will mute or un-mute the phone.

Design & Display

The Nexus One is a high fashioned phone outshines others. When you get it in your hands, you will feel it soft and slim, because the coating of the Nexus One is Teflon. And there is no device out there looks as crispy as the Nexus One's display screen, which boasts a 3.7" widescreen, delivering at 720x480 and impressive picture quality.

Sensors

The Nexus One features the "proximity sensor" which will enable the user to hold the phone close to the ear. Usually this results in the pressing of keys unknowingly which disconnects the line in most cases. The sensor in Nexus One automatically deactivates the keys so that the call does not get disconnected.

Battery Life

Well, the Nexus One beats the iPhone with the battery life, it holds at charge for at least 24 hours, and maybe more.

It was also revealed that the price of the non-subsidized version is around $550 and the phone will be available for purchase from Google along with a contract from Deutsche Telekom's T-Mobile USA. It may also be available in an unlocked mode enabling consumers to use the device with a carrier of their choice.

Now, of course everyone seems to have one question about the device -- is this the be-all-end-all Android phone / iPhone eviscerator? In two words: not really. The Nexus One is faster and more refined and definitely a step forward, but just not quite there yet. you can learn more info about Nexus One VS iPhone VS Droid.
