How to Use DVD Creator for Mac

Simply follow the two steps below to convert home DVD to formats compatible with tons of popular devices, including iPhone, iPod, PSP, Zune, Apple TV, PS3, Xbox 360 and many more.

Step 1: Load Files

Download and install DVD Creator for Mac on you Mac. Run it and click "+" button to import pictures or video files to this program or simply drag and drop them to it. And rearrange the file list by using the up-down arrows.

Tips: You can freely drag and drop the thumbnail to merge or split the video files.

Step 2: Edit files (optional)

To personalize your DVD files, you can edit the video files and slideshows as well by clicking "Edit" button. For video files, you can crop the frame size, trim into several clips, append effects, add picture/text watermark and rotate.

Crop: Simple scale the frame size to retain the part you want, or move the sliders to set the position and size. You can also adjust the zoom of the video like Keep Original, 16:9, 4:3.
Effect: Append a special effect like Gray, Emboss, Negative, Black White and tweak the brightness, contrast, saturation to personalize your DVD videos.
Trim: Easily trim your video to multiple segments by clicking "Trim" button and preview the selected clip.
Watermark: Add either picture or text watermark and adjust the position as you like.

Rotate: Four buttons: -90°, +90°, Horizontal Flip, Vertical Flip for you to easily rotate your video.

For slideshow files, you can adjust the transition effect and add background music.


Transition: You can set Slide Duration, Transition Effects, Transition Duration and apply to all pictures in one click.

Text: Add the text to your picture, select the font and adjust the size, color and position according to your preferences.

Music: Simple drag the music in or out of the frame to add or delete the background music to your slideshow.

Step 3: Create DVD menu (optional)

This Mac DVD Creator also allows you to create your own DVD menu with rich selections of DVD menu template. Simply click "Menu" button to select one and set the "Frame", "Button" and "Text" to customize your DVD menu.

Step 4: Start to burn DVD

After all necessary settings, you need to insert a blank or rewritable disc to your Mac if you want to burn your video files or slideshows on DVD disc. Or you can simply convert the videos to DVD folder, .dvdmedia or ISO file and save on your Mac for later burning.
