How to Save Pictures from a DVD to a Mac

I'm trying to use film stills in an art project, but I don't know how to save the image while it's paused as a picture. I just need to figure out how t saves it to my Mac, so that I can print them out. I've tried using a MAC doing apple, shift, 4, and that didn't work from DVD player on a Mac. I know this can be done, just don't know how. -- from U.K Joshua

Load DVD movie from Mac
