How to Convert AVI to WMV

The AVI and WMV formats were both introduced by Microsoft and are popular. AVI videos are easily played in media players such as Windows Media Player that come bundled with the Windows operating system while WMV videos are easily compressed and can be uploaded, downloaded and streamed via the internet. Although we have a lot of AVI videos on hand, we might still prefer WMV videos for the following reasons: it largely reduces the size of the videos with great image/sound quality so that we can save more; it holds a wide compatibility with most PCs that are running in Windows (including with most multimedia players) while AVI always poses codec concerns; it supports most portable devices while AVI does not sometimes. Therefore, to enjoy a better time with those videos, we have to convert AVI to WMV. With powerful Video Converter Ultimate, this article tells us how to make it step by step.
