The long-awaited Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 is going to launch in late October, and the pricing and edition options map would closer with Windows Office for better alignment across the platforms.

The Mac version will make its debut in three SKUs:

1.Office for Mac Home & Student 2011
The Mac Student 2011 product includes Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Messenger. It will retail starting at $119 (single install) and will be available for $149 for A Family Pack version.
