How can I fix my Firefox internet browser?

Firefox on my computer is really slow and all the videos are choppy as is the sound? My internet explorer works fine but I prefer Firefox. What should I do to fix it?

Compared with Internet Explorer, I prefer Firefox, too. But the slow running is really an annoying thing to everyone. After checking the problem of slow Firefox, I have summarized several reasons that affect the speed of Firefox browser, and share it here with all of you.

1. Check the network connection

This is the first thing we need to do. The network connection can affect the running of Firefox to a great extent. So make sure the network connect is normal and not very slow before you do other things.

2. Check the installed add-ons

Then check the installed add-ons on your Firefox, and disable those you don’t use or don’t work well, because more add-ons running can slow down your Firefox. Get the useless ones off your Firefox, and then restart your browser.

In this situation, you can handle the media in the following ways.

On a Windows PC. Update your security software first. Make sure that your antivirus app is workable. By the way, for better protection, you’d better install some extra anti-malware softwares. Then whenever you connect your computer with the infected media, disable “AutoPlay”. It means before opening the media, you can have it scanned. For disabling the “AutoPlay”, on Windows XP, a pop-up could ask you whether open the media instantly or not. You just say no to it or close the pop-up. On Windows 7 or Window Vista, go to “Start”, type “autoplay”, press “Enter”, then uncheck “Use Autoplay for all media and devices”. The next step is launching virus fighters and scanning the media. After the process, you can copy files from the media to your local hard drive.

How to connect your computer with another from a distance?

Maybe you can come across the situation that you need to remotely connect your family or friends’ computer in order that you can copy, get a list of files you want from their hard drives just like using the local one. Well, have no idea on how to connect both computers from two different places? Step 1: Both computers must have installed “TCP/IP” and “NetBEUI” protocols. If not, you need to install them.

Step 2: make sure both computers have setup the “”Remote Access Serives”.

Step 3: make sure you have the IP address of your family or friends’ computer(Below is short for computer A).  If you want to know your IP address, you can do this by go to “Start” >” run”, type “cmd” and click “OK”, and then enter “ipconfig” and press “Enter” button.

Step 4: Share a path of your wanted files on computer A. Here, take sharing “C:\” as “INTERNET_DRIVE” for example.

Step 5: make sure the both computers connected to the Internet. If not, just dial and convert them to Internet service provider.

Step 6: Enter into your computer’s “DOS/Command Prompt”. And type the below information:
NET USE X: \\205.159.67.4\INTERNET_DRIVE
If there is any error information displacing when you login, you can type the following command instand:
NET USE X: \\205.159.67.4\INTERNET_DRIVE /USER:uname pword

You’ll find it has mapped your computer’s drive to computer A’s “INTERNET_DRIVE”. Now, you can access your family or friends’ drivers through the Internet.

1. Reboot PC, press F8 to enter into the Safe Mode, and select Start Windows option.

2. Click through some straightforward screens until you see the familiar “Welcome” screen.

3. Find the button for Administrator user. On the Safe Mode Welcome screen, there might be some other users’ account on your system

Note: there should be no secure code set for the administrator account if you haven’t had the default settings of your system changed.

4. Log in to the Admin account, then hit “Yes” when you’re prompted to whether continue using the Safe Mode or not.

5. On the user settings control panel, set any password for any user on the PC.

6. Reboot your PC to let it automatically enter into your Windows XP with the user password you just set.

7. If the method above doesn’t work, you can use a professional support recommendation OPHCrack (freeware) to completely hack your windows password without wiping out anything.
