Three Main Reasons that Google+ Could Beat Facebook

Tuesday, July 5th, 2011

facebook-versus-google+Now many people have the same question wondering in their mind”Can Google+ beat Facebook?” Actually, I had no idea about that until I figured something out. As far as I see, Google+ has advantages over Facebook. To get my idea understandable, at the first place, you must regard that the competion is between Google and Facebook, not Google+ and Facebook, for  if Google+ is not from Google, with no doubt, it could not compete with Facebook at all .  Here are the main reasons  I pick  out for your reference.

Firstly, big highlight: integration. When Google was mentioned, what comes to your mind, Internet search, Google Video chat, YouTube, Gmail ? I must say, a lot of stuff. Yes, that is the key point. Google+ is integrated with Google Service, which means Google+ is not just a platform of social net working. With Google+, users could interact with friends while staying with the Google service. The moment you get some messages, you are able to grab some nice stuff, either striking pictures or swell videos,  from the Internet as the response.  Besides, here I have to mention the video chat, as it is the element that Google+ could knock Facebook out. Video chat is  indispensible  in today’s social networking, while Facebook still cannot provice that yet. All in all, one all-inclusive platform is better than a single site, right?

Those 3rd party iPad apps for Facebook that have been trying to provide Facebook users some sanity (My Pad, iFace, Friendly) will be facing some stiff competition.

iOS 5 Will Not Support iPhone 3GS

Friday, May 27th, 2011

A piece of news from Twitter by Eldar Murtazin, the Mobile-view chief editor of Russian Mobile Technology Blog, that the next generation of Apple operating system, iSO 5 will not support iPhone 3GS, but only iPhone 4 and the next iPhone generation.

Although the news still has no leg to stand on, and Eldar Murtazin hasn’t uncovered the news’ source, he has gained a nice reputation for the reliable news he released before. He merely cares about Apple too much.

Apple released iSO 4.0 last June, and it well supported iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4, though there are some functions cannot work on the two former devices. Until this year, iSO 4.3 come out, iPhone 3G was abandoned and stopped at iSO 4.2.1.

If iSO 5 is limited for iPhone 4, it must require high hardware configuration, and iPhone will bring another high-end configuration trend. iPhone 3GS is still in normal sales now. But iOS 5 will be the most important version of Apple’s mobile operating system, and only iPhone 4 satisfies the requirement of it. Will it be true or not? Let time tells it!
