Festival de Cannes is the largest and most important film festival in the world. It’s held annually in France. Because of the beautiful sea, beauties and sun, it gains another name – 3S film festival (Sea, Sex and Sun). The 64th Festival de Cannes has been held on 11th May, 2011 and it’s on the hot processing now, and will be ended till May 22.

I can tell that Casablanca must be on the list of many’s favorite movies. Yeah, it’s on mine, too. It’s really an old one but pretty classic. Casablanca, named in Spanish, means “white house.” And Casablanca is Morocco’s largest city. But I’m afraid due to the movie Casablanca, DarelBeida, the formal name of the city, must have been forget by non-native people. This city is near the Atlantic Ocean and is Morocco’s largest port city. Today, let’s back to the old days in Casablanca, 1942.

Talked about Casablanca, you must remember the also awesome song named As Time Goes By, written by Herman Hupfeld in 1931. It became most famous in 1942 when it was sung by Sam (Dooley Wilson) in this movie. While voted #2 on the AFI’s 100 Years… 100 Songs special, commemorating the best songs in film, the beautiful song As Time Goes By still is loved by many.
